To the public, the conveyancing process can seem somewhat of a stop start journey. Lots of interaction with their solicitor at the start of the transaction when the offer is made then silence, further interaction at the missives and title deeds stage then all quiet and thereafter a flurry of activity shortly before settlement. It can leave clients feeling somewhat unnerved and not fully informed as to whether or not their transaction will complete on time.
We know that communicating with not only our clients but also all other parties within the conveyancing process is absolutely vital to ensure that our clients are fully informed and have a stress free transaction. To this end we offer a written report emailed to our clients each week with a commentary in plain English on the specific aspects of the transaction. Where we are acting on behalf of a client in connection with the purchase we will comment upon the missives, loan papers and titles and where we are acting in a sale we will make sure that our clients are updated in respect of the missives, searches and observations on title. In addition, we will give our own commentary as to how we feel the transaction is progressing giving an appraisal on issues that may have a detrimental effect on timescales and confirming whether we think that timescales will be met.
In keeping our clients updated with our weekly report, we are confident that our clients will be better informed throughout the whole transaction and this will reduce some of those stresses and strains sometimes associated with the conveyancing journey.
