Wanted to share my recent experience with Purple Bricks from a buyers perspective now that they have well and truly embedded themslves withion our psychy. Time for them to have ironed out their wrinkles and teething problems or so I thought.

It shouldn't take 9.39 minutes to note an interest in a property should it? Should you be passed through 3 different call handlers and then have to fill out a registration document (GDPR?) before you can even make a verbal offer? Maybe I'm being nit picky? They need to tighten that up or they will start to put off all but the most committed purchasers. I suppose this may be a marketing ploy to sort out the wheat from the chaff - you know what theses marketeers are like!

And then there is the non sensical e mails that tell you in one e mail that an offer has been made and then in the next tell you that there are no offers. I am all for technology but you need to be able to trust it before it is rolled out.

I'm just getting started..........

The property expert was kind enough to give me his mobile and said that I should contact him to discuss offers and the property etc. That's great as long as you don't have to make 5 calls in the course of playing telephone tennis. Oh how I long to speak to a branch who will have numerous members of staff who have a semblance of understanding of the transaction in question.

On a positive note I can now e mail the offer direct to the property expert and they update the web site with a pink closing date sticker that confirms the closing date - initially it was 12 midnight and then changed to 12 noon!

I will report back on how smoothly the offer process goes..........................................
